Abstract

«Réquiem por la muerte del yo artista» és un projecte audiovisual en forma de performance sobre la música del compositor finlandès contemporani Einojuhani Rautavaara, els Requiem del poeta alemany Rainer Maria Rilke i la concepció filosòfica de l’art i la seva comercialitat de l’artista americà Andy Warhol. «Réquiem por la muerte del yo artista» és la meva sang. És el meu compromís. Tracta sobre la dualitat entre l’artista i la persona, i com això afecta el nostre art. «Réquiem por la muerte del yo artista» és una operació de cor. És provocació; és sobre vomitar la teva ment i estar assedegat de futur. És menjar-te a tu mateix. Però sobretot, és la meva concepció d’art: l’art és tot allò per la qual cosa el creador estigui disposat a morir.
